The Men& Toolkit: Ready When You Are

The right level of help. Right now.
We understand that one of the biggest barriers to finding the help you need at the scale you’re ready for is access to good, trustable help. Many men wrestle with feelings of shame and fear when it comes to their mental health and the challenges they face in their relationships. Fear of judgement, fear of consequences, fear that the help won’t work.

Our research shows that men typically search for and try to piece together support for two years before truly finding something that meets their needs. Surfing online. Reading. Listening and watching, all the while feeling pretty isolated.

Even though mistakes, mishaps and accidents happen all the time, apologies are still difficult. It’s hard to own up to hurting someone else.

You cannot, nor should you, try to avoid anxiety. Learning to cope with it is a life skill and a necessary part of being human.

Managing Life's Transitions

Life transitions can be happy or exciting events like a new job or marriage or a new baby, but they can also be upsetting, such as the death of a loved one or the loss of a job.
